Reputation is an independent feature film about a disgraced whistle-blower’s fight for justice while struggling with a rare mental illness.
The film is an original and unique take on the law genre, a searching examination of legal principle, self-disclosure, truth and truthfulness.
Through the device of the ‘synthetic’ mental illness, Word Substitution Disorder (preformed convincingly and sympathetically by Paul Nugent), the film is rich in unease, ambiguity, exposed subtext and verbal confusion.
Reputation is a Muse of Fire piece of work.
